Are you legally able to marry us?

In the UK, celebrant weddings aren’t (yet) legally binding - but many couples choose to do the simple legal part at a registry office, then have the real celebration with me, in whatever way feels right. I’ll walk you through it all.

Do you work with LGBTQ couples and families?

Absolutely, wholeheartedly, and joyfully - yes. Love is love, and every identity, orientation, and family structure is welcome here. Your ceremony will reflect you - authentically and with care.

Will you cry at our ceremony?

Quite possibly. I’ve been known to shed a graceful tear or two - usually during vows, heartfelt speeches, or when grandparents get emotional. I always keep it professional (and carry tissues).

Can our dog be involved?

Yes please. I love a dog in a bow tie. Pets are absolutely welcome in ceremonies (where venue-appropriate), and I’ll happily help you include them in a meaningful or playful way.

Can we read the ceremony script before the day?

Absolutely. I’ll share a draft with you in advance, so you can make changes, check the tone, or add anything that feels important. Nothing is set in stone until it feels right to you.

Do you write everything from scratch?

Yes - every single word. Your ceremony will be crafted just for you, based on your story, your values, and what matters most.

Do you offer rehearsals?

Yes - especially for weddings. We can walk through everything in person (if possible) or over a call so you feel grounded and confident on the day. I’ve been delivering different mediums of public speaking for over 10 years, so please use me as a coach. People get incredibly nervous about speaking in front of all their friends and family, and I can help guide you through it.

What happens if you’re sick or can’t make it?

I’ve never missed a ceremony, but in the very unlikely event that I couldn’t be there, I’m part of a trusted network of celebrants and would arrange someone equally lovely to step in.

How do we book you?

Easy! Just head to the ‘Contact’ page and fill out the enquiry form, or drop me a message to book in a free discovery call. If we’re a good fit, I take a 50% booking fee to secure your date, with the rest due 1 month before your ceremony.

How far will you travel?

As far as the story takes us - Carlisle, Cornwall, or Capri. Travel fees are added fairly and discussed upfront. For everything from luxury destination weddings to private elopements - I’ll travel to wherever you need me.

Can we include rituals, readings, music and dancing?

100% yes. Want to light a unity candle? Read a poem from your gran? Dance down the aisle? I'm here for it. Your ceremony can be as traditional or unconventional as you like.
